Welcome to the Northmont High School website!

It is my honor and privilege to be the principal of a school with such a storied and proud tradition.  Our building has built a culture of excellence through the hard work of our students, staff, alumni, and community stakeholders.  Our collective goal at Northmont is to provide our students an excellent education and to empower each student to maximize their potential.  We do this through high academic expectations, providing a wide variety of clubs, athletics, and extracurricular activities, and living out our Culture Playbook Beliefs that Thunderbolts Work Together, Thunderbolts Take Responsibility, and Thunderbolts Grow.  This truly is a special place to be and my hope is that your student takes full advantage of all that Northmont High School has to offer.  

We want our parents to be our partners in our students’ education.  We’d love to see you at our Open House, Parent Teacher Conferences, and for you to follow your child’s grades on ProgressBook (Contact Amy Schondelmeyer at 832-5065 if you need help).  If you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate contacting your child’s guidance counselor or administrator (832-6000).
